Proposal

I see myself,
Sitting by the beach,
Waiting for you to come.

You come,
You kiss me and hug me,
You start to watch the sunset with me.

Side by side,
Hand holding hands,
Watching the bright red sun set,
Upon the purple skies,
That the sun bestows upon it.

We drink a bottle of champagne,
Wishing ourselves a Happy Anniversary,
We’ve been together for so long.

You begin to go on your knees,
You take out a purple box,
You open it,
Inside there sits a circular object.

You await my response,
I don’t know what to say,
But that “I do,”
You slide the ring upon my left ring finger.

The ring shines upon the setting sun,
The ring’s color begins to flash its natural color,
The gold-purple feel it has to it,
Words begin to flash saying,
“I love you. Happy anniversary.”
The gem upon the ring shines,
As I put my arms around you,
And whispering into your ear,
“I love you!”
And kissing your soft lips.
